Est-il autorisé de prendre de l’Prednisone pendant l’allaitement?
Est-ce sécuritaire pour la mère qui allaite et pour l’enfant allaité?

Excrété dans le lait maternel en non-montant significatif avec pas de problèmes signalés chez les bébés allaités dont les mères ont été traitées à la dose quotidienne de 10 mg pendant une longue période de temps. À une dose quotidienne de 60 mg utilisé pour le traitement de l'Herpès Gestationnel Pemphigus pas de mal effets sur les nourrissons allaités au sein ont été rapportés. Sur les traitements à long terme, il serait conseillé d'attendre 3 à 4 heures jusqu'à la prochaine infirmière de minimiser le transfert de médicament dans le lait maternel. À fortes doses, intra-articulaire de traitement avec d'autres médicaments stéroïdes (Méthylprednisolone, Triamcinolone) ont transitoirement affecté la production de lait. Les stéroïdes administrés avant l'accouchement peut retarder le lancement de la phase II de la montée de lait (
