Is it allowed to take Maternal Candidiasis during lactation? |
|
Nipple candida dermatitis usually accompany candida vaginitis, and/or oral, or perianal candida infection. Also after treatment with steroids or antibiotics. Mother, partner and child must be treated. Thoroughly cleansing of artificial nipples and sucking devises have to be ensured. Use of pacifiers is discouraged for breastfeeding infants. If topical treatment fails, then try systemic Fluconazole. |
