Is it allowed to take Chlorotrianisene during lactation? |
|
A non-steroidal synthetic estrogen similar to diethylstilbestrol. Since the last update we have not found published data about its excretion in breast milk. It has been used orally to inhibit postpartum lactation (Oladapo 2012, Niebyl 1979, Yuen 1977, Utian 1975) and to treat menopausal symptoms, female hypogonadism and prostate carcinoma. Very long acting due to accumulation in adipose tissue. Not currently commercially available. |
