The Mother Canguroo Method has shown to be most effective for a proper care of premature infants. Initiate immediately breast milk pumping every 3 hours. Lying on weight and gestational age (sucking capacity) offer the breast directly or feed through a syringe or a feeding tube. Do not allow the infant to get tired or wasted by a poor sucking: supplement with own mother’s expressed milk after 15 minutes of sucking.
