People over 60 should not be prescribed this medicine with sulpha in it. I now know I am allergic to it and other 60 year olds probably are. I ached all over, still do 4 days after stopping. Vomiting, fever, diarrhea and still have a rash. Had to switch antibiotics to heal my bug bite.

I have been taking acne meds since I was 16 and nothing seemed to work. I am now 52 with adult acne and this is the ONLY med that seems to work. My doctor wants me to slowly decrease the usage and eventually get off of it. Seems to be working. I hope the bacteria stays away!! I loved this med.

Was prescribed this by an ER doc after a bee sting got infected. Certainly cleared the infection up quickly, but the side effects were horrible. Constipation, severe headache, swollen glands, and eventually a full-body rash and fever. Ended up going to my regular doc who had to give me a shot of cortizone to calm the inflamation. All symptoms disappeared within 1.5 days of stopping antibiotic.
