Is it allowed to take Dabigatran Etexilate during lactation? |
|
It is a thrombin inhibitor usually given by mouth. Used for the prevention of thrombotic embolism after hip or knee reconstructive surgery. It is not better than Enoxaparin but more expensive. Because of molecular characteristics it seems likely to trespass to breast-milk. |
