Is it allowed to take Etodolac during lactation?
Is it safe for a nursing mother and a child?

Since the last update we have not found published data on its excretion in breast milk. Its high percentage of plasma protein binding make it very unlikely that significant amounts will pass into breast milk. Until there is more published data on this drug in relation to breastfeeding, safer known alternatives may be preferable, especially during the neonatal period and in case of prematurity.

However after using for 20+ years for fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis I now have liver problems,Excessive bilirubin in urine but all tests normal,so I am not taking Lodine to eliminate possible causes of my current problem. It does say it can cause liver problems but so can many drugs. Its hard without it as it is effective.
