Like most ear preparations for topical use, due to its tiny dose and a low or no absorption into the blood, it is regarded as compatible while breastfeeding. In addition, Ciprofloxacin, when it is even administered systemically, it is excreted into breast milk in very small amount without reported problems in the infants whose mothers were treated.
