Is it allowed to take Rasagiline during lactation?
Is it safe for a nursing mother and a child?

It a selective MAO-B inhibitor that increases Dopamine serum concentration and inhibits Prolactin secretion and hence decreasing the breast milk production.

Axilect is bad news, it has made my life hell for the past 6 months. The neg reactions seem to have now gone away (swollon feet and legs & skin rash. MY PK Doc increased the dose to 1 mg which caused more complication. After 10 days I took myself off the Azilect. Over serveral month I was given a battery of test trying to understand my problems. Do not use Azilect, again it is bad news (at least for me.

Rasagilene has reduced my tremors, leg freezing (falling), masking, and drooling. It does not seem to ease muscle aches or cramps.
