My numbers have improved after one year on Fosomax, so I will continue on....

Have been taking this medication for 2 years and my Dexa scans have shown an improvement. Have never had any side effects. Plan is to continue for 3 more years then take a drug holiday and monitor.

It almost killed my mom. Too bad doctors do not know the actual side effects of this drug.

I was on Fosamax for 9 years (until I "timed out") and never had any problems or side effects. I never had any dental issues, either. If I had, I would have stopped the medication immediately. Fosamax actually increased my bone mass for which I am very grateful.
