I had espohagus erosion and was on Nexium. Once that was healed I could not go without antiacids. I took Prilosec and it also worked well. Concern over the bone problems and immune system interactions made me go off that and try Zantac as a step down. It worked well, is constipating but less than the other 2 were. I am now in process of discontinuning its use. Drinking lots of water and think I will be able to stop taking any antiacids.

2nd stage of treatment for H. Pylori as I could not tolerate the prescription medication. I take 150 mg every 12 hours.
