Is it allowed to take Almotriptan during lactation? |
|
At latest update, relevant data on its excretion into breast milk were not found. Any risk would be minimized by delaying the breast feed for 1 to 4 hours after taking medication. Almotriptan shows molecular characteristics that are similar to Sumatriptan which is known to be barely excreted into breast milk. |
